The first link in the chain-of-survival to reduce cardiac arrest is early prevention. Preventing cardiac arrest through education and action steps may eliminate the chance of having a cardiac arrest. Reduce the critical risk factors of cardiac arrest with our Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Smoking, Exercise and Stress Management programs. Take a Cardiac Arrest Test to determine if you will have a cardiac arrest this year. The second link in the chain-of-survival to reduce cardiac arrest is early access. Rapid response and intervention increase the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest. For each minute of delay, the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest decrease 10%. Knowing why, how and who to call for help is a part of the bystander's critical role. We have developed an Early Access Awareness program and reminder products to help each employee take decisive action to save a life. The third link in the chain-of-survival to reduce cardiac arrest is early CPR. During a cardiac arrest, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation keeps oxygenated blood flowing to the brain until a defibrillator arrives. CPR saves lives!! We have developed an exclusive One Hour OSHA level CPR course. Teach Citizen CPR to each employee and our four-hour CPR course to each manager. The fourth link in the chain-of-survival to reduce cardiac arrest is early defibrillation. Restoring an adequate heart rhythm is necessary to survive a cardiac arrest. This can only be done with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). We will place an AED in the most appropriate location at home or at work, and we will train you how to save lives. The fifth link in the chain-of-survival to reduce cardiac arrest is early advanced care. After the heart has been restarted, the victim needs to be stabilized and transported to the hospital for additional care. We develop a follow through plan and work with your local Emergency Medical Services to facility a smooth follow through. Protocols and processes will be tailored to your organizations needs.
